I had a pretty simple plan today.
Work. Come home. Make coffee. Drink coffee. Write my weekly post.
All was going according to schedule until I was about 5 minutes away from home. That’s when the tire light came on in my car.
Oh great.  Seriously??? I had been up since 3 a.m.. Taking care of car stuff was the last thing I wanted to do.
IMG_7995My husband was busy working so I made my way to get my tires checked. On my short trip over there, I saw a lady pulled over on the side of the road with a flat tire. Thankfully, she had someone helping her but she still looked a bit lost.
I heard God gently whisper, “That could have been you today. What you thought was an inconvenience was Me actually taking care of you.”
I smiled and thanked Him for knowing better than I did…as always. That wasn’t the first time it had happened and I know it won’t be the last.
Life will never be perfect but when when we know God, we can trust His perfect plan… through the hills and valleys, the highs and lows, and even the flats.
Psalm 121:8  The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
